AutoMato Release Notes: September 25, 2025
Overview
This release introduces Variation Management V2, a significant upgrade to product variation management. The new features streamline and centralize workflows at the parent level, making it easier to manage, edit, approve, and publish product variations in bulk.
The enhanced AI-powered content regeneration tool is now integrated into the variation workflow. It allows users to generate content using the default method or existing/new CAB, enabling faster and more consistent updates.
With improved navigation, bulk approval and publishing options, and greater transparency into content generation configuration, this release empowers users to efficiently manage large sets of product variations with confidence and control.
New Features
Variation Management V2: Presents a dedicated Parent Detail Page, which facilitates the organized management of product variations. This feature enhances parent-level workflows and allows for quicker transitions between title variations. It includes advanced editing capabilities for variations, along with robust regeneration options powered by CAB functionalities. Furthermore, the system streamlines processes for bulk approval and publishing, thereby improving efficiency and conserving time in managing product variations.

Dedicated Parent Detail Page: Access this powerful, centralized view by going to the Parent tab and clicking on any Parent ASIN. Here, you can view the parent title and all child variations displayed in cards (with ASIN, SKU, and Attributes). This display is similar to the Amazon product detail page (PDP), with Search and clickable Child ASINs for easy navigation.
Effortless Title Variation Switching: Eliminate time-consuming, one-by-one title updates for each child. From any Product Detail Page (of a child ASIN), switch the title using the Title Variation dropdown. The selected title will be applied automatically to the group of child variations that share the same content under the parent.
Efficient Content Review & Edit: Dramatically reduce your review time. By editing content on the Product Detail Page of any single child variation, the changes will apply instantly to all other child variations under that parent that share the same content. You only have to review and edit once!
Title Body + Attributes: Titles consist of a shared title body for all child variations and specific attributes for each child, simplifying the editing of product titles for variations.
Confirmation Pop-up: After you've finished editing any content element, such as the title, bullet points, keywords, or description, simply click save. A confirmation pop-up will appear, stating that your changes will be applied to all related variations under the same parent. This ensures consistency across your content, making it easier for you to manage.
Advanced Content Regeneration using CAB: Utilize our powerful regeneration tool, choosing either the default or CAB method from the bulk action menus:
Unique Content: Select one or multiple ASINs from the ASIN tab and click the "Regenerate" button. Choose to regenerate using the AutoMato default algorithm or an existing/new CAB file.
Generic Content (Parent-Child Families): Select one or multiple Parent ASINs from the Parent tab and click the "Regenerate" button. Choose regeneration using the AutoMato default algorithm or a specific CAB brief.
Bulk Approval and Publishing Variations: Save significant time with robust bulk management options for parent-child variations:
Approval: Approve product variations by selecting one or multiple Parent ASINs on the Parent tab and clicking "Approve," or by clicking "Approve" on the Parent Detail Page. Approving the parent instantly approves all child variations.
Publishing Prerequisite: Before publishing, ensure you add Parent SKUs using the "Manage Parent SKUs" button available in the Parent tab dropdown.
Bulk Publishing: Select one or multiple Parent ASINs from the Parent tab and click "Publish" to initiate publishing of the content for all variations (parent title and children’s content). The "Approve and Publish" button allows you to execute both actions at once.
Individual Variation Publishing: From the Parent Detail Page, you can click the "Approve" and "Publish" buttons to execute actions for that specific parent-child variation.
Improvements
We've enhanced parent-level workflows to make variation management quicker and more organized, reducing the steps needed to update product variations. The Parent tab now features improved navigation and usability, ensuring you can find, view, and manage your variations with greater ease.
Improved CAB Transparency: The CAB file name used for content generation is now shown for each product on listing and detail pages, making it easy to see which custom algorithm was applied. As you review listings, it helps you decide if a CAB needs adjustment or is suitable for reuse. This streamlines content review and empowers you to optimize your custom algorithms confidently.
Enhanced Filtering for Efficiency: Filters have been introduced in the Parent tab to enhance management efficiency. You can now filter by publish status and product visibility, improving clarity. The “Unpublished” and “Show Approved Products” filters (when both applied) focus on ready-to-publish items, while the “Partial Live” filter identifies partially published products, facilitating debugging.
Introduced Publish Status to Parent Tab: The Parent tab now shows the Is-Live status for each parent and child ASIN. This improvement allows users to easily identify whether the parent-child variations are unpublished or live on Amazon.
Enhanced Parent Titles for Product Variations: Generated parent titles for existing product variations enhance the effectiveness of content publishing. This is particularly important for categories such as Apparel (Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry), Sports & Outdoors, and Jewelry, where the parent title is prominently displayed on Amazon PDP for certain variations.
Bug Fixes
Updated the algorithm to generate bullet points within the character limits specified in the CAB.
Fixed the Publish Error pop-up on PDP to accurately display the Amazon response.
Enhanced inventory addition for Sellers with the discover toggle enabled.
Allowed Company Users to access the Parent & Discover Tabs smoothly.
Improved pagination controls to stay visible with fewer result rows.

e.g Title Structure: <Brand><Product Name><Feature><Variant Theme>
-> Click the “Title Variations” dropdown to view the new titles

Custom Keyword Prioritization Configuration in CAB: Adjust the weights of their keyword metrics based on the desired content outcome. For example, if you want the content to achieve a high search volume, set the search_volume weight to 10 on a scale from 1 to 10.

Improvements
Generalized Content for Variations: All the child variants under one parent ASIN will have the same content (Title, Bullet Points, Description, Generic Keywords) when added via Bulk Import. Contact AutoMato support to receive training on managing large portfolios with product variations.

Multi-Vendor Code Support for Publishing: Have a Vendor Central account? Upload the Vendor Code Mapping file into Automato under: Vendor Central > Amazon Connection > Upload SKU File
This will allow Automato to recognize and publish to all correct vendor code paths on Amazon.

Bug Fixes
Fixed: Publish history not displaying for some company members on the product detail page.

Fixed: Sales title exceeding 200 characters. It is replaced with the new title variations.
