AutoMato Release Notes - August 19th, 2025
New Features
Discover Products in AutoMato: Discover all products and their variations with parent-child relationships in the catalog linked to their Amazon accounts, authorized with AutoMato.
Able to light-add new products and discover their parent-child relationships.
Able to view which products are generated and non-generated in the “Discover” tab.

Parent Title Generation: Parent titles are created for products in the Apparel, Jewelry, and Sports categories, applicable to all related child variations.

Title Configuration: Added support in the CAB UI for setting title character limits and custom title structures. This includes in-line prompts to help users shorten titles that exceed the allowed length and generate titles based on their predefined structure.
Title Character Limit: 200 (Standard for Amazon listing) or 150 (Required for Some Categories)
Title Structure: <Brand> <Product Type> <Feature/Technology> <Primary Function/Purpose> <Target Audience> <Usage Location> <Attributes>
To access, go to Settings -> Brand -> Content Algorithm Brief (CAB) -> Create CAB -> Settings

Custom Keyword Filters: Enabled new controls in the Content Algorithm Brief (CAB) for defining custom keyword filters tailored to different content strategies.
Do want gender-specific words in your content? No worries! Create a keyword filter and control how keywords are selected for content generation.
To access, go to Settings -> Brand -> Content Algorithm Brief (CAB) -> Create CAB -> Settings

Backend Search Term Generation: Added config-driven generation of backend search terms with better filtering logic and support for selecting key parameters.
Don’t want misspellings in the backend search terms? Turn off misspelling toggle button.
Able to set minimum character length for words. Select 2 if “me” should be excluded.
Determine how relevant the search terms should be. It is recommended to set “Low” and allow generic keywords with high search volume to be a part of your listing.
Note: Backend search terms are not customer-facing (invisible) on Amazon.

Improvements
Abbreviate Product Counts for Circle Badges: Counts ≥ 1,000 are abbreviated using "K" (thousands) and "M" (millions) where applicable. (e.g., 1.8K, 15.7K)

Vendor Code in Publish History: The vendor codes appear in the publish history on the product detail page for each publish attempt, allowing easy identification of successful and unsuccessful SKU-vendor codes.

Brand Voice Extractor is up and running.
Search Volume Bug Fix: Fixed an issue where the writing process accidentally removed important keywords from listings, helping to keep crucial SEO terms intact.
SKU Files not Processing: Fixed an issue where SKU files uploaded to a Vendor Central connection in AutoMato were not processed, enabling users to publish products on Amazon.

An AutoMato representative can add a "Content Algorithm Brief" to the user's account, which can then be selected during content generation. This provides AutoMato account managers with the flexibility to shape how content is generated.
Users can input Custom Competitors on the competitors page, allowing them to regenerate content tailored specifically to those competitors.
Vendor Central: Upload custom ASIN-to-SKU mapping files to resolve "Product not found" publishing errors. Navigate to Settings → Third Party Integrations → Amazon Connections.
Seller Central: To perform a manual catalog refresh, navigate to Settings → Third Party Integrations → Amazon Connections and click the Manual Catalog Refresh button.
The Export BSR feature now supports catalogues of all sizes.
A new filter has been added to easily view deactivated products.
