Defining a Content Calender

The next potentially beneficial step when working on a new Amazon account or brand is to understand whether or not the product is in special demand during any seasonal holidays and if so, which ones will be prioritized.
At the start of your familiarization process, you should take the time to write out a fully product holiday calendar with a list of products.
Its not necessary to track every possible event, based on research, the most important events in terms of Amazon selling are:
Event | Callout | Earliest Reasonable Date | Ramp up days |
Valentine’s Day | Valentines Day Gift | February 14 | 50 |
St. Patrick’s Day | St. Patricks Day | March 17 | 60 |
Mother’s Day | Mother's Day Gift | May 8 | 60 |
Father’s Day | Father's Day Gift | June 15 | 60 |
Back to School Supplies | Back to School Supplies | September 10 | 90 |
Christmas Day | Christmas Gift | December 25 | 90 |
Christmas | Stocking Stuffer | December 25 | 60 |
It is very useful to make a list of all of the products in your portfolio, which events they are relevant for, and when to make content changes. Platforms like AutoMato help users to track and AutoMatically publish holiday relevant content.
Each time an event gets flagged in your calender, focus on products where it would be appropriate to place a short call out in the parent title or child title. Do not place the callout in the beginning where the product is being basically described, but instead place the callout in the middle of the title within the first 80 characters. This will ensure maximal visibility for customers.
